David Appleton is a Senior Analyst at Argus, specialising in LPG markets. He is responsible for delivery of the global and European LPG statistical reviews which Argus publishes in partnership with WLPGA and AEGPL each year. He is also the editor of the Argus LPG Outlook and a contributor to Argus LPG World. Prior to joining Argus, David spent six years at the European LPG Association, where in his role as public affairs manager, he promoted and defended the interests of the downstream European LPG sector in the Brussels energy policy sphere. David holds a BscEcon in Politics and Economics and a Masters in International Development.
Mrs. Elif Atak is a Research and Development Specialist in Aygaz, Turkey. She has been managing R&D projects in LPG business for more than 3 years which are mainly related to new product development for autogas and research on alternative fuels. She is a chemical engineer. She is 30, single and living in Istanbul.
Since 1978 works in the field of alternative fuels vehicles, starting as sole exporter of CNG and LPG automotive conversion equipment manufactured by the newborn O.M.V.L.
In 1980 developed an innovative dual-fuel Diesel-Natural Gas conversion system, obtaining patents in 23 countries. Such pioneering technology was successfully applied in on the first Diesel-LNG shrimp fishing boat in US and on heavy-duty buses and trucks in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Italy and USSR.
From mid of 90’ has realized the prototype and the production of the first generation of low-floor 12m CNG buses for Breda Menarinibus, Italian leading bus manufacturer owned by Finmeccanica Group. Such CNG buses was supplied to the cities of Firenze, Bolzano, Pistoia, Palermo and Siena.
In 2004 has been involved in the project to utilize LPG as fuel for taxi and heavy buses in China and, to be in condition to satisfy the needs of the new generation of vehicles/engines, developed the IMMIS technology, the innovative liquid LPG injection system specifically designed for OEM applications, heavy-duty and for professional users.
Andrew Bills is the General Manager LPG & HSE of Origin Energy having been with Origin since 2009. He is also the Chairman and Director for many of Origin’s LPG businesses through the Pacific and Vietnam.
Andrew has over 20 years’ experience in the energy industry having worked in many areas from power generation, trading and retail.
He is also the Chairman of Gas Energy Australia, which is Australia’s peak LPG industry body.
Nikki Brown joined Cavagna Group UK Limited in 1993. She was appointed Managing Director of Cavagna Group UK Limited in 2004.
Nikki is Treasurer of UKLPG, the industry association in the United Kingdom. Nikki has been on the board of directors since 2003. She was appointed as Chair in January 2012 and was the first woman in the Association’s history to hold this position. She is the longest serving member of the current Board of Directors.

David C. Carroll is President of the International Gas Union for its 2015-2018 triennium as the United States, with leadership from the American Gas Association, prepares to host the 2018 World Gas Conference in Washington, DC.

Mr. Carroll also serves as the President and CEO of the Gas Technology Institute in Des Plaines, Illinois, USA. He joined GTI in 2001 after holding various technical and management positions with Praxair, Inc., Liquid Carbonic Industries (a subsidiary of Chicago Bridge & Iron), and Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.
He served as Chairman of the Steering Committee for the 17th International Conference and Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas held in Houston, Texas on April 16-19, 2013. Tanzeem Chowdhury serves Omera Petroleum Limited and Omera Cylinders as AGM - Corporate Planning & Business Development. He joined the company in 2013 as Project Coordinator during construction of the Largest Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Infrastructure in Bangladesh with national supply capacity of over 100 000 MT annually.
Omera’s LPG Infrastructure, built under EPC by French-Belgian Consortium Parlym-DEC, consists of a 3600 MT LPG Import Terminal, 300 MT Satellite Storage Terminal & 75 MT Satellite Filling Stations. To distribute LPG in bulk from Omera’s Import Terminal to its remote storage locations, Mr. Chowdhury was instrumental in the Planning, Construction & Commissioning of the first self-propelled deck loading LPG Carrying Barge in the Region. Class Certified by RINA, ‘Omera Princess’ is able to propel 300 MT LPG through riverine routes of Bangladesh.
Lucy Cook is a Chartered Marketer with 20 years’ experience in a wide range of business to business (B2B) organisations including GEC plc, Marconi Communications and Lloyd's Register. Within these companies, Lucy has been responsible for communications, PR, brand management, events management and market research. Lucy's current role is Communications Manager for UKLPG, the trade association for LPG in the UK. At UKLPG, Lucy is responsible for PR, member communications, events including the annual conference, website content and social media. Lucy has been instrumental in creating and delivering the current digital PR campaign which has brought UKLPG members' together to target specific customer sectors.
Henry Cubbon is Managing Director of DCC Energy LPG and is responsible for Ireland-based DCC’s LPG operations in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium and most recently France, after the €464m acquisition of Butagaz.
Henry initially joined DCC in 2008 as Managing Director for Flogas UK. Prior to that he was Managing Director of Antalis from 2000, overseeing its paper distribution business in the UK, Ireland and South Africa, having also held a strategic planning role at paper manufacturer Arjo Wiggins Appleton. Henry has also worked for Barclays Bank, and was Senior Manager at their Paris headquarters.
Guilherme Darezzo is a 37 year old, Ultragaz manager. He is responsible for the South region of Brazil in the bulk segment. He graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from São Paulo State University, post-graduate in Business Management by the Kellog School (USA), Management Development by IEESE - University of Navarra.
His experience includes 15 years in the LPG industry, working with the Production, Logistics and Sales departments at Ultragaz.
Alain Deleuse was born in Belgium in 1953. Graduated in Industrial Mechanics and Marketing, in the last 39 years Alain has developed expertise in distinguished management positions in the LPG activity.
In 1977, he joined Cargas Company and became a technical and commercial Director. Ten years after, he became General Manager at Primagaz Belgium and remained in Primagaz Group for thirteen years, four of which in the position of European Marketing Director in Paris. In 2000, he joined SHVGas Paris, where he was the International Marketing Director and European Public Affairs Manager until 2003. Since that date, Alain started his own consultancy company and take different position as International Business Developer for several companies, including Mann-Tek, ISA – Intelligent Sensing Anywhere and DEC – Design Engineering & Consulting.
Furthermore, Alain Deleuse was Vice-President of the Butane-Propane Belgium Federation and a member of AEGPL. Nowadays, he is also an active member of AEGPL, of the World LPG Association and of the European Center of Standardization (CEN).
Rob comes to the international LPG market with a wide range of domestic US experience. Rob started his LPG career in 1996 managing railcar fleet logistics with Warren Petroleum Co. in their Western US region. Over the years of marketing for Warren and later Dynegy, he worked directly with refinery services focusing on the butanes and heavier products in the Western US. More recently with Targa Resources, he was focusing on the domestic propane markets and supporting the gas processing and raw NGLs at Targa’s Badlands assets in the Williston Basin of North Dakota. In his current role, Rob is responsible for Targa’s international and domestic marketing and transportation business activities. This includes LPGs from Targa’s Galena Park TX export facility as well as developing other export opportunities. Rob received both B.S. and M.B.A. Degrees from the Univ. of California at Davis.
Dan Dorner is a lead author of the IEA’s flagship World Energy Outlook and several of its special reports, including Energy and Climate Change, Africa Energy Outlook, Energy and Air Pollution, Redrawing the Energy-Climate Map, Iraq Energy Outlook and Are We Entering a Golden Age of Gas? He leads the IEA’s work on energy access and its engagement with the UN Sustainable Energy for All initiative. Prior to joining the IEA he was a Senior Economic Adviser at the Treasury in the United Kingdom where he led a team of analysts covering global commodity markets and the economies of the Middle East, North Africa and the former Soviet Union.
Blaise Edja is currently General Manager Global LPG at Oryx Energies SA, a Swiss company headquartered in Geneva. He joined Oryx Energies in 2005, as Managing Director of its three subsidiaries in Côte d’Ivoire.
Blaise has more than twenty years’ experience in the LPG industry. He started as head of Total’s LPG department in Côte d’Ivoire, before moving to Shell as General Manager Shell Gas (LPG) Côte d’Ivoire in 2001.
He is the representative of Oryx Energies at the Industry Council of the World LPG Association and Chairman of the Global Cylinder Network.
Mr. Evans is President and Chairman of the Operating Committee of the GLPGP, and President and COO of ETG. He serves on the Industry Council and several working committees of the WLPGA, and co-authorized Guidelines for the Development of Sustainable LPG Markets published by the WLPGA. He has a 30 year career of senior positions in global public and private companies in multiple industries. He serves on the ICC G20 CEO Advisory Group Steering Committee and its Energy Working Group. He holds a BSc degree (Cum Laude) in Engineering from Yale University and an MBA degree (Baker Scholar/highest honors) from Harvard University.
Mr. NABIL GUEJAJ holds a degree in Industrial Automation Engineering from Belfort Engineering School, France, and is APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional.
Mr. NABIL GUEJAJ is a Technical Manager with more than 20 Years of Professional Career, mainly in 2 important Groups: Shell Gas LPG and VIVO ENERGY. Since 2012, he is very active in the field of Supply chain management and Engineering asset management in the LPG industry.
Richard joined UKLPG in 2012 and is the Director of Safety and Technical Policy. Richard is responsible for the provision of safety and engineering good practice guidance to UK industry, and is custodian of UKLPG Codes of Practice and other technical publications. Richard runs the UKLPG Technical and Safety Management Team and its four key technical sub groups on Transport and Pressure Vessel Design, Equipment and Appliance Standards, Major Hazard Sites, and Training and Skills.
Other responsibilities include engagement with UK Policy Makers and Regulators to ensure new EU directives and domestic regulations are fit for purpose and cost effective.
Prior to joining UKLPG, Richard worked at Calor Gas (SHV) for 14 years. He was Operations and Engineering in a Joint Venture with Shell Retail UK, responsible for design, installation, maintenance, LPG deliveries and site training for all Autogas LPG installations on Shell forecourts and independent retailers. He later assisted the Shell ‘Centre for Excellence in Global Engineering & Design’ to develop Autogas design and operational standards for Shell International in order to apply a consistent approach in the countries that Shell operate in.
Richard has a first class honours in Mechanical Engineering and is a graduate member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. He currently participates in the UK Process Management and Competence Project Board and the UK Regulator Chemical Downstream Oil Industry Forum.
A Mechanical Engineer by profession, employed for over 25 years in the petrochemicals sector. 21 years experience in the LPG business both in Greece and abroad mostly in the engineering, safety and operations disciplines. Has lead several multicultural teams to the implementation of business changing projects. Currently holds the position of General Manager of Coral Gas, the leading LPG marketing company in Greece and member of the Motor Oil Hellas Group.
Roger Harrabin is the BBC's Environment Analyst, and one of their senior journalists on the environment and energy. He has broadcast on environmental issues since the 1980s and has won many awards in print, TV and radio. Aside from his speciality he has covered many major general news stories. He is a Visiting Fellow at Green Templeton College, Oxford and an Associate Press Fellow at Wolfson College, Cambridge.
Dr. Walt Hart is a Vice President at IHS, where he leads the global Natural Gas Liquids Research and Consulting. Based in the company’s office in Houston’s Energy Corridor, Walt joined IHS when IHS acquired the international energy consulting firm Purvin & Gertz in 2011.
Dr. Hart leads the publication of the IHS worldwide NGL multi-client subscription services, as well as the three annual international LPG Seminars in the US, Asia and Latin America. He has also designed and taught workshops and training courses. His proprietary studies have involved business analysis and strategy, market studies, forecasting, valuations and legal support. He works primarily in the area of natural gas liquids, but also has significant experience in petrochemical feedstocks and alternative fuels.

Cate has worked in the energy space for nearly 10 years, starting out in energy efficiency before moving into renewable technologies and now distributed generation. She has been at Delta Energy & Environment for two and a half years, delivering consultancy assignments and contributing to Delta-ee’s subscription-based research services.
She is lead analyst on Delta-ee’s Micro-CHP Research Service, examining the technologies and market opportunities for distributed generation.
Kalinda Magloire is a governance and development management specialist with more than ten years experience managing donor-funded governance and institutional capacity building projects in Haiti and abroad. She’s is the CEO of SWITCH SA, a social enterprise determined to massively convert Haitian households from charcoal to LPG.
In addition to manufacturing LPG cookstoves, SWITCH has developed different financial models allowing low-income households to switch to a cleaner energy. One of SWITCH’s main focus is to empower women who are at the forefront of the battle for cleaner cooking energy.

Wanjiku is the General Manager of Petroleum Institute of East Africa which is the professional oil and gas industry association in the East Africa Region. She joined PIEA in 1999 and previously worked with Esso/Exxon Mobil.

Samuel Maubanc is General Manager at the European LPG Association (AEGPL), which is the sole representative of the LPG industry at European level, representing national LPG Associations as well as distributors and equipment manufacturers from across Europe.
He started working for the AEGPL in 2011. His main role is to coordinate the work of the association, manage its administration, and establish reliable and efficient communication channels with European Union policy makers and the wider policy community, on behalf of the European LPG sector. Samuel represents AEGPL in EU-level discussions relating to policies and regulations that are of direct relevance to LPG, either as a heating/cooking, industrial, or transport fuel.
Samuel has ten years of experience in government relations. He has provided consulting services in public affairs and strategy to companies from a wide range of sectors including energy, ICT, retail, food, and media. Prior to living in Brussels, he also worked in Tokyo at the European Commission Delegation to Japan, where he dealt with regulatory obstacles preventing European businesses getting access to the Japanese market.
Cinch Munson is the director of agriculture business development at the Propane Education & Research Council, where he leads the US propane industry’s efforts to serve the needs of the agriculture market through business development, outreach, and product development. He is also responsible for initiatives to develop new, propane-fueled, high-horsepower, industrial engines. He joined PERC in 2014.
Cinch has had a career of business development leadership with organizations serving agriculture market. As director of market operations at Mercaris, he helped launch an industry online trading platform for the specialized agricultural commodities. He also worked as manager of product quality and innovation for Oxbow Animal Health and as a project manager at AgInfoLink, where he was instrumental in helping global agribusinesses expand into new markets with product traceability technologies. Munson was also the associate vice president of Mid-Plains Community College, where he helped develop an award-winning corporate degree program with a Fortune 500 company.
Munson grew up on a cattle ranch in Nebraska. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a master’s degree from Colorado State University. He lives in North Platte, Neb., with his wife and three sons.
Michael is an NGL supply/demand, pricing and shipping specialist with Poten. Michael has led a number of global NGL projects, focusing on the commercial aspects of projects, as well as supply/demand fundamentals, shipping analysis and LPG price forecasting.
Michael joined Poten in 2007 as an LPG Consultant. During his time at Poten, Michael has consulted on LPG economics, investment valuation, strategic/business analysis, infrastructure, due diligence and marketing projects including developing business plans and strategies for a wide range of companies.
He has previous work experience with Greek shipping companies, such as Angelicoussis Group and Chartworld. Michael, a Greek native who also speaks fluent English has a BSc in Shipping, Trade and Transport economics from the University of the Aegean in Greece and an MSc in Project Analysis, Finance and Investment from the University of York. He is also a frequent speaker at various international NGL conferences and is based in Poten’s Houston office.
He started his professional life in Aygaz as Sales Engineer in 1995. Until 2004, he held various sales supervision positions.
In 2004, Polat was appointed as Branch Manager at Akpa, an affiliate company of Aygaz, and worked as General Manager between 2008 and 2010.
Polat was appointed as Marketing Director of Aygaz at 2010. He is a Board Member of TANI - CRM Company of Koç Group. He is a representative of Aygaz in Turkish LPG Association. He is also a member in the Industry Council and holds various positions in WLPGA working groups.
Polat graduated from Turkish Military Academy in 1989. He earned his MBA degree from Marmara University in Management and Organization, and Executive MBA degree from Koç University.
He was born in Istanbul in 1968. He is married with two daughters.

Tamsin is a Bachelor of Commercegraduate from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, a speaker for WOESA (Women in Oil andEnergy South Africa), a member of the WINLPG, and more importantly, a mother to a 5-yearoldson.
Christoph Reimnitz is the Structuring Leader for both GE’s Gas to Power team as well as for the Development & Investment team in Africa. He has taken on these roles in May 2015.
Gas to Power (GTP) is a critical growth strategy for GE which focuses on getting natural gas to locations that need power. The team leads these efforts across GE globally. Christoph’s role is to develop partnerships with leading players along the gas to power value chain and to develop new products.
The Development & Investment team in Africa is responsible for the project development of infrastructure projects that include GE product across the continent.
Christoph Reimnitz joined GE in 1998 and held several leadership positions within GE Capital and GE Corporate responsible for Mergers and Acquisitions and Partnerships across Europe where he led many acquisitions, dispositions and the formation of joint ventures.
Prior to joining GE, Christoph was a Director in UBS’ Corporate Finance Division in London and Frankfurt. From 1991 to 1993 he worked in Berlin and New York for the Treuhandanstalt, the privatization agency charged with selling East Germany’s businesses following German reunification. Christoph started his career with Deutsche Bank as an apprentice in 1980.
A native of Germany, Christoph holds a PhD in banking law from the Johan-Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt (1991). He is a fully qualified lawyer.

Stephen joined Calor from the Aga Foodservice Group plc where he held the role of Chief Operating Officer, responsible for a £530m turnover and 5,000 employees. He created the Foodservice Division of AGA from a single £25m business in 1999 and transformed it into a £280m turnover operation by 2007. Prior to AGA, Stephen spent 20 years in a variety of roles at Glynwed International rising to the position of Chief Executive, Consumer and Construction Products, a division of Glynwed International.

After graduating for university here started as a service specialist and worked in the field. Later as a product manager he could extend his knowledge about odorants in the field for many years. His international sales experience to all continents gave him the chance to learn more about different circumstances and regulations in that special application field worldwide. He gave presentations to foreign expert committees and authorities.
He works as a trainer for the DVGW (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water) and participates in different committees of the DVGW, which set the technical rules for the German gas industry.

Jeff Stewart is the President of Blue Star Gas, a retail propane distribution company that operates in 7 Western states of the U.S. Blue Star Gas has 14 locations and is a family owned company, Jeff is the third generation in the business. Blue Star Gas was one of the first members of Alliance Autogas, a nationwide group of companies that convert fleets to propane Autogas and installs Autogas infrastructure. Blue Star Gas has installed over 70 public access Autogas fueling locations in 4 primary metropolitan markets of the western states.
Agnieszka Stochmal is the Director of Marketing and Communications for AmeriGas Polska, one of Poland’s largest LPG marketers, and a subsidy of UGI International – a leading European LPG marketer.
Agnieszka began her career working with Shell Gas Poland in Marketing in 2006. After Shell Gas’s acquisition by UGI International, she then worked in various positions of increasing responsibility in marketing for Poland and other Eastern European countries, all subsidiaries of UGI International. In her current role, Agnieszka is responsible for the Call Center, Back Office and Marketing functions within AmeriGas, as well as serving as a member of the Management Board.

Since 2000 she is a regular contributor at “Il Sole 24 Ore” and after its creation even at the Motori24 Internet Channel.
In 2009 she conceived and realized the “EcoCar” publishing project, the first magazine in Europe specializing in environmentally friendly vehicles and green lifestyle, which she directed until 2011. Gökhan Tezel started his professional career in Tofaş Türk Otomobil Fabrikası A.Ş (a JV of Fiat and Koç Holding) in 1993 as Finance Specialist. He was promoted to Finance Manager role in 1998. In 2006, he was appointed as General Manager of Koç Fiat Kredi Tüketici Finansmanı A.Ş. (the consumer finance company of Fiat Turkey).
Having worked 16 years in Tofaş, he transferred to Aygaz A.Ş as Chief Financial Officer in 2009. He has been the Chief Executive Officer of Aygaz A.Ş. since October 2015.
Mr. Tezel acts as Vice President at the LPG Association of Turkey and as Chairman of LPG Assembly TOBB (Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges).
Mr. Tezel has got a BA degree in Business Administration from Uludağ University, Turkey and an MBA degree from The Southern New Hampshire University, USA. In addition, he completed Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
He was born in Germany in 1966 and is married with a son.
Mr. Can Tikiroglu is R&D Assistant Manager in Aygaz, Turkey. He has been managing R&D projects in LPG business for more than 10 years, which are mainly related to new product development for autogas market and automation projects for increasing quality and efficiency of cylinder filling operation. He has many patents in this field. Can is a mechanical engineer, holds an MBA degree and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate. He is married and living in Istanbul.
Basuki Trikora Putra (Tiko) is the Vice President Domestic Gas in Pertamina - a State Owned Company - listed in Fortune 500.
He has been with Pertamina for more than 25 years and has been stationed in almost all part of the country, holding various important top management positions such as General Manager Region, Vice President Corporate Communication, Vice President Fuel Retail Marketing, and Vice President Petrochemical Trading.
With his experience, now as the Vice President Domestic Gas, he is responsible of all LPG business in Pertamina.
Grace Willis began her career at the Propane Education & Research Council, a US based energy non-profit, as an intern while studying at university. Upon graduating with honors, Grace joined PERC full-time as executive assistant to the Chief Marketing Officer and began working on the Energy Guys advertising campaign and managing PERC’s government outreach campaign.
In 2006, Grace played a pivotal role in the planning, promotion, and execution of the World LP Gas Association’s inaugural Global Technology Conference in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
In 2007, working with Stage-Gate International, she led development and currently oversees PERC’s new product development and innovation process. Her current responsibilities include strategic planning, portfolio management, metric analytics, and budget planning.
In her current role, she serves as principal staff liaison to PERC’s Strategic Planning Task Force, the Portfolio Subcommittee, and the 100-member Advisory Committee. She represented PERC on the WLPGA strategic review committee.
Grace holds a B.S. in Government & International Politics from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, and a minor in Global Systems. She currently resides in Washington, DC.

A Post Graduate in Social Welfare, from the prestigious D-School of Delhi University, she is a highly compassionate being. A member of the IOCL Chairman's Panel (2015-16), she achieved highest figures in her district, during PAHAL, a direct benefit cash transfer scheme. PAHAL (DBTL) is now a Guinness World Record.
Mrs. Yadav has given a soft face to otherwise, a highly mechanical process of LPG distribution. She has been working with a missionary zeal and undertaken the task of 100% LPG penetration in the rural areas in Noida to declare the villages 'smokeless'. WLPGA has also documented the impact of her work, by the way of a small documentary in ‘Cooking for Life Initiative’.
Mrs. Yadav launched and is doing 5kg FTL in NOIDA and the sales speak volumes of it.
She has been actively involved in motivating people to adopt 'Give it Up', a clarion call given by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, to the affluent section of the society to voluntarily give up the cooking gas subsidy.
